Electronics Engineering Installers & Repairers 

Program Description: 

The Electronics Engineering Installers & Repairs program offers opportunities for students desiring to learn about the field of electronics in such areas as analog & digital circuits, computers, instrumentation, communications, microprocessors, cabling & fiber optics systems. The program prepares students for hardware & A+ software certification & CompTia Network Plus certification.   The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute Associate of Applied Science – Electronics Engineering Installers & Repairers, is awarded upon successful completion of the program.

To enter the program students are required to have Mathematics and English BGCSE with grades of C or above.  It may be necessary for students to enroll in preparatory English and Math if they do not possess the requisite entry requirements.  

 

Period of Candidacy

Students must complete all requirements within five (5) years. Students that do not comply with this rule will be required to start the program over including previously passed courses.  Students requesting exemption from courses previously completed at BTVI must possess a grade of B or higher.
